If gold can be extracted by primitive means I am surprised the indigenous people aren&#039;t more actively involved. In many ways, gold can do more harm than good to an area.

There has been a story in States about a couple of cyclist trekkers in your general area who may or may not have disappeared. They appear to be well in a remote region, the Napo River, but this has not been confirmed.
