Most people only know Amelia. Elinor started records at age 16. They include Endurance, Speed and Altitude. What she didn't have was a promoter like George Putnam. I am developing a power-point presentation about Elinor Smith. She was the youngest to achieve honors and the oldest also. Her aviation activity ended when she was 98.
