<description>Our country is blessed to have such a wonderful set of Museums, Libraries and Research Facilities under such a great Institution! As someone born in our nation&#039;s Capital City I have always been so appreciative of The Smithsonian; as it has been a place for me to spend countless hours learning about the world we live in and about the Natural and Human History of the world and universe and of my country! I can truly say that The Smithsonian Institution is there to serve us as a constant reminder that between the office of The Presidency and The House of Congress is The Mall of The American Public that is flanked and guarded by these fine bastions of Knowledge, of Discovery, of Invention and of Enlightenment! Just as The Smithsonian serves to guard us from Forgetting The Past and from Fearing The Future, we must serve to Guard The Smithsonian from any who would want us to Forget The Past and Fear The Future! If anything The Smithsonian is a Living Memorial to The Quest for A More Perfect Union, to Those Who Seek Enlightenment and Wisdom! Thank you for reading this. Thankyou James Smithson.
