Marilyn Monroe was a legend. Her acting was phenominal. I love her and she is one of my idols. I wish she was alive now, but one quote (not exact words)"She should've been made of iron and steel, but she was only made of flesh and bones. She had a hard life because of her parents and some of her foster parents, but that didn't stop her.

Yet another issue is that video games are usually serious naturally with the key focus on knowing things rather than fun. Although, there is an entertainment aspect to keep your young ones engaged, each game will likely be designed to work on a specific set of skills or program, such as mathmatical or scientific disciplines. Thanks for your write-up.

Kris you took the words right out of my mouth. People like to think of suicide in a romantic way, believing that a tragic life or disappointment leads to suicide. It is doubtful that anyone would take their own life because their career didn't turn out exactly as they planned. Clinical Depression and self-medication (barbiturates) is a dangerous mixture. Being "depressed" is a normal emotional response to an event. "Clinical Depression" is a disease.

[...] In spite of her flaws and the tragedy of her life, we all remember you Marilyn. The Smithsonian has a wonderful article about how the country memorializes the woman and in the legend in its article: “Remembering Marilyn Monroe.” [...]

I agree with Kris- mental illness was in Monroe's genetics. That is why she killed herself. It wasn't fame. Fame only made dealing with her mental illness that much more stressful and put her under more pressure.

Marilyn was an amazing woman. The Many Lives of Marilyn Monroe by Sarah Churchwell shows how complex this woman was. She was WAY ahead of her time. Incredibly intelligent. After reading it I had so much more respect for her.
