We once lived in Vienna, Va and I volunteered at the American History Museum and I wish I could see the exhibit. We were visiting in Falls Church on 9/11/01, planning to fly home to MN the next day. We drove our rented car instead. We tried to buy a map in the area, but no stores/gas stations were open...streets were empty. The trip home was earie, with mostly rental cars on the road. Saw one airplane the whole trip, and it was an all white, unmarked 747 over the air base in Ohio, I believe. Do not remember for sure. Will never forget that day, along with millions of others.
