Actually, I as to my previous comment, I think he could have meant Cleveland (with his walrus-tacular mustache) or Chester Arthur (who has connector-chops to rival Van Buren for most awesome facial hair).

Thanks for this! One clarification, do you mean “Cleveland” instead of “Carter?”:
“Going on facial hair alone, you have to look at Hayes, Carter, Harrison and Garfield. And Van Buren with those mutton chops – could something have been going on? But these are just observations, we have no evidence.”
