		<description>This was an interesting holiday article, and I enjoyed seeing Christmas viewed through the various artistic lenses. I must disagree with the commentary on the card by Phillip Guston, however. Rather than being a departure from his dark pictures of violence by the KKK, I see this card as an extension of his theme: a black kettle (black man) hanging, while pointed flames - evocative of KKK hoods - dance in the wood(s).
