I doubt if the photograph of the king cobra is actually a king cobra. their color is black with white bands. But i need to admit the scales on the top of the head is of the perfect classic king cobra shape..

My good friend Mavuto Chinula of Chilumba, Malawi was not so lucky. He died of his black mamba bite. From what I was told, he just brushed by it while walking one day, it bit his leg, and without medical attention aside from local “healers,” he didn’t last more than few days.
