What? An ART?!! Make me unsee it. This method became routine in biotech when I wasn't even born.
This guy acts like a plasmid (with the same amount of consciousness) itself: got a method from one environment, relocated to another environment. What a bosh!

It seems disgusting and dangerous to me. I'm no fan of unnatural chimeras.

I think art has been lost in the wilderness since the development of photography. It's been just one gimmick after another for the last 100 years. At some point it will find its level, so why not this imaginative work. Still, I just wish they'd bring back evocative representational painting.

PS If you put one of these blooms on your salad, are you committing cannibalism?

I'm 80 years old and I don't figure to be around that long. But I wonder what surprises life holds in store for my children and grand children with all the uncontrolled genetic playing around done just to see what happens.
