For the past three years, the Walking With Dinosaurs live show has been entertaining arena audiences all over the world, but when the show stopped in Guadalajara, Mexico the crew noticed that one of their cast members was missing. A robotic baby Plateosaurus (which is devoured by the predatory dinosaur Lilliensternus in the first scene) had disappeared. This was the first time that any of the dinosaurs were stolen from the show.
There whereabouts of the little dinosaur are still unknown. Mexico police are investigating, but for now the show must go on. The creators of the program changed the first scene since the dinosaur that was stolen was an essential part of the act.
The show will continue to tour internationally for the next year before returning to the United States in 2011.
