Utah Museum Debuts New Dino Show

A snapshot from the dress rehearsal of the "Live from Laramidia" dinosaur show at the UMNH.
This year the Utah Museum of Natural History is celebrating its “Year of the Dinosaur,” and part of the ongoing festivities is a new dinosaur show called “Live From Laramidia.“
The new children’s show is centered on the life and times of a teenage horned dinosaur, represented by an elaborate 10-foot-long puppet, found in the 75-million-year-old rock of southern Utah. The ceratopsian is a new type which is still undergoing study at the museum, but even though its name is “mum” for now the museum is using the new puppet to teach children about the state’s prehistoric past. When not performing in organized shows, the puppet will wander about the museum engaging visitors, no doubt to the delight of young children.

Show just was going on as I walked through the lobby minutes ago!
This big fella is on the cover the mythical ceratopsian volume, actually.
