Dinosaur Sighting: Grilled Triceratops

A Triceratops grill cover as seen in Granger, Washington. Photo by Michael Stearns.

Where there’s one dinosaur, there are often others. Such is the case, reader Michael Stearns tells us, in Granger, Washington. Not only does the town have a dinosaur sculpture park, but various dinosaurs adorn vehicles around town. On the truck pictured above, a Triceratops strikes a pose on the vehicle’s grill. I know that’s supposed to be grass beneath it, but the spikes make me think of flames and, therefore, grilled Triceratops. I like mine medium, please.

Have you seen a prehistoric creature in an unusual place? Submissions of dinosaurs—and other ancient beasts—should be sent to dinosaursightings@gmail.com.
