Dinosaur Sighting: Polka-Dot Triceratops
![]()
Last week, we met the dinosaurian equivalent of a shar pei. This week, we meet a Triceratops that looks as if a clown exploded all over it. Submitted by reader Vladimír Socha, this clearly bewildered dinosaur resides in Jordan, Montana—a sparsely populated place the dinosaur must have escaped to out of embarrassment.

I love me this Triceratops. Though it does look a little astonished at its own coloring. Perhaps it is actually a TriceraPopsicle in fun fruit flavorings and colors?
Oh the irony if our time-traveling descendants* discover this statue accurately reflects the color scheme of Triceratops.
*Not that I really believe our descendants will be able to travel through time, but if they do and they read this, I would really like next week’s lottery numbers.
