collection and research is most important but my thought is
observe and creat a sense of that environment when the animals are in original phisical shape.

"<i>jimmadseni</i>" has not formally been named yet: it is widely known to be the name that Dan Chure proposes for the excellent new Dinosaur National Monument specimen and several other individuals, but a paper formally naming it has yet to be published.

why is jimmadseni in quotes? Is it because it's a dead or disputed name? Hesperosaurus has been called stegosaurus before.

Anyway, the lower part of the Morrison does seem pretty overlooked. Is that because there aren't as many good exposures as the brushy basin member? The LA Museum is working on a sauropod from lower in the formation. They nicknamed it "Natalie" because the field crew experienced a plague of flying insects when digging her out. Some of her backbones are on display in the dinosaur hall and last i heard they were working on getting her published (specially because she could be a new species).

That articulated skeleton was salvaged out of a pipe line corridor as the 3rd or fourth pipeline was going in. No one surveyed for the first pipeline. I worked on the survey for the second pipeline. We missed that one, but found a number of other sites including one of the best basal Eocene areas in the region. Uintapaleo's mapping indicates the head was clipped off by an earlier pipeline. Sad!

I'm pleased to see the name Brontosaurus lives on in Eobrontosaurus. I look forward to Neobrontosaurus, Eubrontosaurus and others.
