I am now working on a dutch translation of MFK Fisher&#039;s Consider the oyster.
There is at least one thing that puzzles me: What in heavens name is &#039;steamed coot&#039; I am not able to find anything, although ofcourse I know what a coot is.
I would be grateful if you could help me with this,
