Hey Amanda, Bonnie sent me this link. I love your list!! I have ordered some of these products, like the Rancho Gordo, Cook’s Illustrated, and a microplane. They are all wonderful! This year, I am making a recipe for squares of chocolate stuck on sticks that melt when you put them in hot milk… instant gourmet hot chocolate without breaking out the pan!

Even foodies like home-made gifts as well. Just don’t step on their specialties: if they make only elegant entrees, give them cookies or candy; if they make cookies, give them vinegar. And so forth. And don’t forget supporting LOCAL food growers and manufacturers with gifts……..
