		<description>Thanks for this article. I had the most hysterical thing happen tonight when I made chickpea and sunflower seed blondies. Indeed, they turned GREEN!! and greener as they cooled. I laughed, then got a bit worried. I often soak my seeds, so this very much surprised me. I mixed soaked and unsoaked seeds in this recipe. It had called for peanuts and I don&#039;t use peanuts, so made sunflower butter instead. I&#039;m really curious now to know if the reaction makes these more ACID to eat than alkaline. Fascinating!! Felt like a kid in Mrs. Frizzle&#039;s Magic Schoolbus class. I&#039;m going to check out your instructions to see if I can avoid the green, though I did mention St. Patrick&#039;s Day to my husband. So it&#039;s years after 2009. Glad this is still here in 2012. Thanks. Yonina</description>
