The Ribeiro wines above mentioned are among the best made in the Ribeiro region but there are some very small wineries, not capable to be present in international forums which really deserve some attention. I started visiting these producers"colleiteiros", as they are called, in order to write articles to be published in La Region, Ourense local newspaper, and can assure you that some of the wines bottled by those "colleiteiros"are really worthwhile as good if not better than the ones mentioned. As an example I´ll refer to two labels: Di Vino Rey and Sameirás, among others.

Good posting. I wish I knew more about Spanish wines - they get so little attention here. My girlfriend and I were in Spain two summers ago and drank our fill for sure.
