But soon our Door County region will be adorned with mile after mile of beautiful white cherry blossoms. Wisconsin is famous for its Door County Cherries. Their flavor is a complexly-delicious combination of tart and sweet. We who love to bake always bake cherry pies with these special cherries. Many Wisconsinites make yearly, late-summer pilgrimages to Door County to pick cherries which they'll freeze for great pies and desserts throughout the year.
