Maybe if cows and goats ate grapes, then they would give milk that went better with wine? ;)

It's hard to convince people to do food and beer tastings unless people know and like artisan beers. What cheese would you pair with Bud Light? Velveeta?

The best way to approach it is not to say beer is better or wine is better, but simply to host a tasting and let people decide for themselves. Let people experience the different tastes and textures and see what effects the beer has on the food and how the food affects the beer.
