Here in LeRoy (NY), the birthplace of Jell-O, we celebrate the history and the mystery of America's Most Famous Desert every day at the Jell-O Gallery (museum). On display is the gelometer that tested Jell-O and the results of the EEG test that proves that Jell-O has the same frequency of brain waves as the human brain. Our Director presented a paper at the first Jell-O symposium on April 1, 1991.

My brother used jello in a high school science project to demonstrate displacement. He and my Mom made some huge amount of jello and put into a large bucket that they had to wheel into the classroom on a wagon. My bro gave the scientific spiel about displacement then he removed his shoe and sock, cuffed up his pant leg and then jammed his foot into the jello (VIOLA! displacement). He got an A.
