Been checking this since June and checked the Conversations in the magazine. Obviously, all though the comments are “moderated” no one bothers to respond. What a disappointment.

It is now October. This article was published in June. Why in God’s name has no one from the Smithsonian bothered to read these posts and reply with a link to purchase the Bolivian salt from the Salar de Uyuni? This is simply irresponsible journalism. Where are your editors? Where are your fact checkers? Where are your proof readers? I used to turn to Smithsonian for interesting, offbeat, fact-filled journalism. You have seriously disappointed me this time.

I also followed the link to purchase Bolivian salt and like everyone else was frustrated in not finding one. One is left to wonder in anyone at the Smithsonian bothers to read their readers comments, or for that matter cares what we have to say!
