If he worked for the woman and she was killed then he became a missing person, then why did the police not make a conection? if he wanted money to leave then maybe he was in a gang sounds a lot like the Elvis film `Kid Creole` or is it `King Creole`!

If I’d emigrate from Holland to America and did happen to become the manager of the number one star in the world I certainly would one day take that star, Elvis, to my old country. And I would let him perform in the city where I came from! Who wouldn’t’? Well Dries van Kuijk wouldn’t!
And that on is own is weird and certainly for such an ambitious person. So there must be absolutely something he’d hide.

An intriguing story.

And all the better for the 'fruitless' ransacking of the greengrocer's premises, so even low-brow readers like me can enjoy it.

Food for thought. Further research is expected now.

Another Dutchman gifted sculptor Michiel Van der Sommen is responsible for the life-sized bronze statue of Elvis at 13 close to Elvis's birthplace in Tupelo Mississippi.

It's interesting to see that lack of curiosity and exploration by the press is nothing new. Looks like they were just as lazy in the 1950s as they are today.
