The article has generated another interesting set of theories (as well as a possible justification for further incursions and investigations in the region). My concern is that those who would want to continue their efforts to segregate homo sapiens into different "races" would now have additional "proof". Correct me if my thinking diverges from what is the predominant and more universal consensus: that all Homo Sapiens have a lineage that goes back to Africa and that we are, for better or worse, all related regardess of the level of divergence. Instead of looking for "differences", perhaps we might want to focus more on finding that commonality which makes us all salient and reasoning living beings.

Is this a joke? Looks a lot like George Bush if you ask me! (This is NOT a political comment, just my observation.)

Cro Magnon invaded Europe 35,000 years ago from the Atlantic, not Africa. There are cro magnon type fossils, as well as similar tool technology found in the Americas around the same time (solutrean/clovis).

Haplogroup X split around the same time, a euro branch and an American
