While we are thrilled at this neat find, we&#039;ve been quite critical of the claims made based on this data. As you can imagine, many scholars studying ancient disease and Porotic Hyperostosis have caught this research. We&#039;ve been particularly critical and have posted a formal reply via PLOS that you can read here:
