Thanks for your post, Ken. Sorry I didn’t make it clearer that you didn’t flat-out bash Steve Jobs, but I did include the headline so the sarcasm would come across. Anyone who reads your essay will, I hope, recognize that.

For the record, I’m a fan of Job and Apple and the contrarian piece was typed on a MacBook Pro. My sarcastic take was part of the other thousands of word Ad Age devoted to praising the man (including the 10 best ads and 10 songs he made famous). But hard-core Jobsians (as evidenced by the comments) failed to see the humor.
