As one of the volunteers accepted to work with the software a few months ago, I found bugs in the system that made it far from "simple" to enter videos, photos--or even text at times. At first, we worked together, corresponding about such glitches, but our communication stopped in June of this year, with Atavist telling me, in effect, "We're working on that . . . " I gave up on Atavist after a couple of months with no further correspondence. I will stick with Apple's "Pages" software for most of my publishing efforts. Atavist had promise, but my experience with it was an instance of promise unfulfilled. My experience with Atavist was quite disappointing.
