The question is always: is terrorism such a threat or aren&#039;t we making it so by the way we deal with people? Using religious beliefs to argue one&#039;s viewpoint is not an exclusive Al Qaeda material. American politicians and military personel are very good at it too.</description>

Most people can perceive when words are spun...but still it works its way into their overall perception, whether they like it or not.
The perception of threat is what makes people act. For ex.-the possibility of &quot;weapons of mass destruction&quot; created a will for war. The reality of actual facts was overwhelmed by this creation of mass fear.
IMO the &#039;narrative&#039; is extremely powerful, and in many cases, the source of the narrative is not questioned.</description>
