Doc Watson and his folk guitar were a big part of my and my friends' high school and college years. I thought he would just remain in my memory and on CD but thank you Daniel for providing a few ways to seeing the great man 'in person'. Even if a fuller picture is not yet available you've proved...he needs one!

There is an excellent down home style DOCumentary done in 1976 by folk researcher A.L. Lloyd " 3 days with Doc Watson" shown on the BBC "Omnibus " series a few years ago..just what you're after .Should be available from BBC..I've got it on DVD if you're desperate , recorded from TV broadcast." A Mountain Night". Full hour of perfection .
