I don't know about the jetsons but I found a real game of golf in the sky online by robolox I think, maybe. One of those 1000 free games that promise no spyware. It was indeed in the air-about 25000 feet. It was in the form of a pool table and the goal was to hit the ball into a funnel where the ball would drop to earth - i guess. It was fun.

That's what I was thinking, Edd. Why was a flying dog special?

However.

Unemployent checks sure didn't beat inflation. Err. or won't, and they still portrayed unemployment and I remember episodes of the poor walking on the ground!

Also. Why was a 'flying dog' special and not a 'talking dog'?

Hey Matt, thank you for being so honest in your feelings about this episode of the Jetsons. Guess everyone has favorites, and not-so-favorites, from the original 1962 series.

What puzzles me is the same question I have about "The Flying Suit", if everything flys in the Jetsons' world what makes a flying dog, (or suit), so special? Even as a 5 year old the plot of episode 12 left me scratching my head. I'm sure Uniblab could've explained everything to me . . . but that's for another episode!

Remember the television kid's motto: "if it's animated - it's worth watching", lol. That motto helped me later in the go-go 1960's as Hanna-Barbera introduced many varied cartoon series in that ever expanding Saturday morning content Battle of the Networks. (Btw, did Space Ghost win that battle?)
