A 20-buck "health surcharge" to order a pizza???

At that rate, pizza delivery would go off like a lead Drifloon and DiGiorno would we swimming in cash.

Either that or I hope to Arceus that's some ridonkuolous future inflation going on there....

(And yes, my father has ordered a pizza online numerous times via Pizza Hut.)

Apple's selling proposition in 1988 was that a Macintosh could enable you to be pushed into working 24x7? I think I know why they were teetering on the edge of bankruptcy back then.

Matt, I love your posts. They are thought-provoking and often amusing. But I have to call you (ping you? text you?) on grammar: Don't use "beg the question" isn't the same as "raises the question." The idea of begging the question has more to do with logic than provocative ideas; see https://public.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/begs.html for details.

The only time I've had credit card theft issues was when I ordered pizza online from a local place, about 6 months ago. So there's still quite a bit to be said for phone calls and paper money...

More like living in the past. I was in Egypt for 6 months in 2001 and you could order not just pizza, but KFC and a bunch of other restaraunts online and have it delivered to your door. America is so far behind the rest of the world at times it's pitiful.
