		<description>The trend that should be happening right now according to top geologists is cooling.  When in fact our summers are getting hotter and longer.  So there is definitely change going on; the glaciers around the world have melted more then they have in thousands of years.  Is it our doing?  Yes. The heavy concentration of chemicals in the atmosphere is acting like an insullation blanket and the heat gets in and does not escape. On clear days, it is almost always cooler.</description>

		<description>From what I have been hearing on public radio, the jury is still out on whether this change in climate is going to be permanently perpetual.  They say that you have to look at hundred year (plus) trends not year to year trends.  I lived through the 1970&#039;s when the big claim that caused quite a stir was that we were going into an ice age.  I&#039;m thinking we can all admit now that that was not the case.</description>
