		<description>I disagree with the astronomer. Last night, 21Dec2011, not too far from Christmas, the waning moon was very visible at 7 PM as I drove home.  The sliver of crescent was sharply defined and made both my daughter and me smile. I know for sure that it was a waning moon, as it was the second night of chanukah, which is the 27th of Kislev, just 3 days before the end of the lunar month.</description>
