Nobody noticed the title of the article?
"Scientists Discover That Mars is Full of Water"
The words "Discover" "That" "Full" and 'Water" should not start with a capital letter.

Gentlemen,
I believe you are missing the point of the article. The article was NOT written as an english proofreading exercise. The grammar and spelling errors did not make the article unreadable nor did it invalidate any of the information presented. Water in Mars are awesome me like. Suck it.

Why doesn't everybody worry less about the grammar and focus on adding quality content to the comments. It is apparent that no one here gives a damn about the fine men and women who have made this journey even possible. If you want to correct peoples grammar then BE an editor, no one wants to hear you correct others. I personally liked the article and I actually learned something about Ion Mass spectrometry and the 2 old meteorites. I will Def. be watching to see if the probe can safely land and give us some more great data.

"The fact that water has apparently existed on the planet for such a long time makes the odds of life originating there just a little less scarce scant." scarce or scant, pick one.

Kelvin:

You forgot the period after "S" in BOTH "P.S" and in "P.P.S" on your comment. You may not take comments seriously but I find the omission of initialization periods confusing and detracting.
Clear, concise AND correctly punctuated language matters when attempting to communicate ideas. Omission of the period tends to make the "S" appear as part of the text.
