This is absolutely mind boggling - scan an actual ear in 3D, print it in 3D using a plastic mold, fill that with collagen, introduce cartilage cells which then replace the collagen leaving an intact ear. I sometimes can't get my head around the genius that makes that dream a reality.
What an incredible breakthrough. I can only try to imagine how many happy children (and parents) this will make. Thank you!!!

This is a wonderful breakthrough of technology and for science. The only thing that bothers me about this technology is the fact that 3D printing can also be used to print hand guns, if even for single use. Yes for all the good that is intended, mankind always has the capacity to turn it to evil.
Government can ban guns, which will cause a man to make his own.
That said, God bless the creation of this technology!
