		<description>@Stacy - Well, technically, they&#039;re asteroids (class Asteroidea), but that&#039;s just confusing. People know what &quot;starfish&quot; means, so why get picky about semantics? Chris, the scientist I spoke with for this article, doesn&#039;t feel strongly about starfish vs. sea stars, despite being a taxonomist -- someone who&#039;s fussy about names for a living. His battle of choice is brittlestars vs. starfish/sea stars.
