With all respect to the author of this report should another Carrington type (1859) superflare occur it will have enormous impact on the developed countries that depend upon their networked and highly vulnerable energy distribution and communication grids. What needs to be remembered is most electrical utility companies do NOT have spare transformers. These transformers require six month up to two years lead time to design and construct. Should one or more major utilities suffer a grid collapse and damage to the transformers we will be out of "juice" for a very long time. That means cuts to industry and cuts in paychecks. Loss of power to a city the size of New York for an extended period of time without access to food and refrigeration will make the recent hurricane outages look like a garden party. Given at least two of the Department of Defense Remote Viewing group alumni (e.g. Grill flame, Center Lane, Stargate program) have stated publically that they have "seen" a massive upcoming celestial event that includes extreme solar flare activity it is no longer a question will the type of outages occur happen it is only a matter of when and likely very soon.
