I object to the phrase "pumped up," especially since this is admittedly a rough draft of a novel, as I understand it, not a strict autobiography. The order of events and the maturity expected of the reader will differ obviously from the Little House books and likely be closer to the true story, however I am so tired of hearing about Rose "rewriting" her mother's work. Laura had been publishing articles, poems, and stories for years before Little House in the Big Woods.
