It seems to me that the methodology of the excavation at sites like the Bosnian pyramids contributes to the "finds." What's the difference between a tunnel that you "discover" and a tunnel that you dig? Like a sculptor, the excavators have a prior vision of what they will isolate from the unformed mass, so it takes shape as they work. Even if there is a paleolithic construct buried there, the excavators selectively shape it by choosing what stays and what gets carted away, just like what Schlieman did when he ruined Troy forever.

Having previously written an article about the Bosnian Pyramids for several regional magazines, I've kept up with developments in excavating the pyramids.

This past summer they had over 500-600 volunteers from all over the world slowly removing three feet of dirt from the sides of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, and excavating more of the miles of tunnels they've found underneath the pyramids. At one point this past summer they found a tunnel 470 feet in length. They also found a piece of wood laying on top of the stone slabs which was carbon dated back to 25,800 years ago +/- 200 years.

You can read more updates on their website www.bosnianpyramidofthesun.com.

I came across the exact formation while Googlearthing this past January. Initially, had same reaction: "It's gotta be a pyramid." But figuring it was so obvious and so in plain sight, concluded that any locals know about it already. Having read up on a tiny bit of geology pertaining to not too far away Valley of the Whales, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and looked at some of the butte formations there on G.E., this looks more like a former seabed butte formation.
