“Night At The Museum” For Adults Lets You Sleep Over With Dinosaurs

London’s Natural History Museum is challenging adults to channel their inner child in an upcoming grown ups-only slumber party.

At their very own Night at the Museum, the lucky attendees will enjoy an all-night monster movie marathon of cinema’s best examples of nature-gone-wild, as well as expert talks on insect sex, gruesome forensics and a lock-in with Dippy, the Diplodocus skeleton. Plus trivia, live music, food, booze kiosks,  drawing classes, stand up comedy (dino-themed?), ghost stories and an edible insect tasting at midnight. For attendees still standing at the 9:30 am breakfast, one will win a mountain climbing vacation package.

Sadly, pajamas are not allowed.

Here in the U.S., we’re crossing our fingers that London’s August 17 event is successful enough to inspire similar undertakings at our own museums.
